When it comes to coleslaw, my grandmother does everything by hand with no machines. She sharpens her own knives and is a true classic granny. Her coleslaw will change the way you look at coleslaw, its that good.

Does my mom qualify for granny's across america? there are so many recipes i couldn't pick just one. do you want a recipe from the real old world? like picking wild mushrooms outside...she goes to this spot at rutgers college and picks these crazy looking mushrooms and cooks them. she is 54 but she is real. she can show how to make mozzarella too. this is her one true passion, she spends all her money on food.
